Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Within us all there is a silent system working to keep us healthy- the lymphatic system.

Day after day, we dump toxins into our bodies: we may eat badly, live in dirty cities full of pollution, drink too much alcohol, eat too much sugar and our lifestyles in other ways could be unforgiving and unhealthy.

Your lymphatic system’s job is to flush all the toxins away, and keep you healthy.

What is the Lymphatic System?

The lymphatic system consists of organs, ducts, nodes, and a network of vessels. It’s responsible for the transportation of a watery fluid called lymph throughout the body, which helps maintain a healthy immune system. Without this system, our bodies would swell up like balloons, swamping our cells with stagnant fluid.

Minor aches and pains, low energy or susceptibility to colds and flu may be due to a sluggish lymphatic system and a compromised immune system.

What is Lymph?

Lymph is a clear, slightly yellow fluid that flows around your body. It carries white blood cells and antibodies to your tissues and organs and helps to clear them of toxins.

Antibodies are essential to your immune system as they help you to fight infection. It also interacts with the blood circulatory system to drain fluid from cells and tissues.
